Our Wedding

Every love story has a beginning, and ours started in Virginia. What felt like an ordinary meeting turned out to be the start of something extraordinary. From the very first conversation, there was an ease, a spark, and a sense that life was about to change in the most beautiful way. A girl from Guinea, and a boy from Liberia had somehow crossed paths, and from that moment on, everything felt like it was falling into place. Friendship grew into love, and love blossomed into a partnership built on trust, laughter, and shared dreams. Together, we have navigated the highs and lows of life, finding strength in each other’s company. Not too long after, we moved in together in Baltimore, Maryland and began building our life together. It was there that our love truly deepened. Together, we have faced challenges, celebrated victories, and learned how to be each other’s comfort and safe place through it all. &nbsp;Eventually, our path led us to Charlotte, North Carolina, where we became parents for the very first time, a whole new adventure that changed us forever. Becoming parents taught us patience, teamwork, and just how much love two people can have for someone so tiny. Those early days were full of sleepless nights, baby giggles, and so many lessons that made us stronger and brought us even closer. We’ve leaned on prayer every step of the way, asking God to guide our steps, teach us patience, and mold us into the best versions of ourselves, not just for each other, but for our family. The greatest blessings of our story are our three amazing children. They are the heart of our home, our proudest joy, and the living proof of the love we share. With them, our lives are full of laughter, chaos, hugs, and memories that make our bond even stronger. More than 15 years later, we pause to say, “Thank You, God,” for making it possible for us to stand here today, celebrating this journey and the love that continues to grow between us. Looking back, every step of our journey, from Liberia and Guinea to Maryland, Virginia and now North Carolina has been filled with lessons, grace, and God’s faithfulness. Each milestone, big or small, has shaped us into who we are today. After all the memories, adventures, prayers, and love we’ve shared, we are so excited and we cannot wait to celebrate this special day with all of you, our family and friends who have supported us, encouraged us, and loved us throughout this journey. Thank you for being part of our story. The best is truly yet to come!
